Updates

Sorry, I have no time to work on the blog! It's been a busy summer for the boys. Roman got to sit in our neighbor Mike's race car, sound the siren and flash the lights of a fire truck AND spray a hose!
We built a cool bridge for the dirt pile. Those boys can play around in the dirt and ride bikes and push dump trucks ALL day long.
Then, there's 7am play dough- which Odin is totally getting the hang of, AKA- not eating it.
Odin has also been peeing in the potty! He will even go and sit down by himself, except he often tries to sit backwards and ends up peeing on the floor. And, he loves to brush his hair and pretend everything is a phone. He's quite the little monkey too, he can climb anything! And he's SOOO close to walking- a few steps here and there, but he wants to so badly and he's so proud when he comes close.

The Harlem Wizards come to Chouteau!

Roman loves to go to the gym and play basketball so it was a real treat to get to see a "real" game! Aunt Kelly even played! But, the wizards didn't let her have the ball that much, lol.

I love this picture!

This is my new favorite picture. I just cannot get enough of these two little darlings. Pure joy, wrapped in sunshine, shitting rainbows. Yes, mother, I know, not appropriate language for the blog. :)

But, seriously, there are no words to aptly describe my love for these two. I'm missing them right now, but I'm thankful that my ex-husband happens to be a great dad. I'd hate to have to send them off to some loser and constantly worry about them. And I'm glad he gets to enjoy those two perfect little smiles, smiles that anyone would be lucky to witness.

First day of preschool!

I was trying to be brave today as I said goodbye for the third time and Roman just walked right up to Miss Mandi and said, "hi, I'm Roman, nice to meet you." And she asked how he was and he said, "I'm fine, thank you." Then he said, "Come on Miss Mandi, follow me." And he led her right into the classroom without giving me another thought. :(

He had a great day and is excited to go back! It's only one day a week but is good preparation for when he starts part-time pre-school.

My Little Myna Bird

Fake laughing with big brother! He mimics everything Roman says and does!
