Fun in the bath

Roman not only talks incessantly, but he knows songs, all the time. He's learning some songs at preschool but sometimes he just sings and narrates what he's doing or just makes stuff up. Odin loves it! Odin dances and claps. Roman's dancing, well, that's a different story. The boy has no rhythm, none. It's kind of hilarious. Lol

My sweet sick babies are finally better!

What an awful week of throwing up and diarrhea! I had to change the sheets once or TWICE a night for 7 days straight. One night, they were both covered in what was the contents of Odin's diaper- it looked like they'd been mud wrestling. Not. A. Good. Week.
So, we watched Charlotte's Web...a lot.

Truck is stuck- part 2

Help, my truck is stuck!

"Push and pull, tug and tow..." Aunt Ginny has given Roman two of his very favorite books- The Little Blue Truck and My Truck is Stuck. Here, you see Roman re-enacting the story! He loves to tell the stories in his books while he plays and to make believe, he has a great imagination! And his little helper is always by his side!

Happy Birthday Roman!

Some pics and video from Roman's 4th Birthday party. He has been talking about this party for months! He was so excited to have his friends over to ride tractors and eat "construction site" cake! It was a great day and he is still talking about it. He was so happy that his daddy came too.

Now that he is 4, he is attending pre-school. He really likes it, but he doesn't always love it. He generally comes home talking about all the fun things he did at school, but come morning, he's not always so excited to go back. He'd rather stay home and play Legos with GaGa- who can blame him?

We built the Legos he received as presents in no time and he loves playing with them. It is amazing how careful Odin is with them too, which makes Roman happy to share with him.

Odin still loves to massage his food into his hair. Today it was avocado, which makes sense, it's a great conditioner!

At the beach with Auntie Lisa, wrestling mania, first time at the dentist, peek-a-boo, awesome garage building with blocks, naked brushing and brushing teeth while dressed like mama, and learning sign language together while Odin sits in my old rocking chair.

Odin is just as obsessed with trains and Thomas as Roman was! We even have a train that goes close enough to our house that we hear it often and he gets so excited!
