Happy Birthday, Mommy!
I had a wonderful birthday! Odin took me for coffee, someone sent me flowers, friends took me to lunch and Gaga and the boys took me out for sushi dinner!

Roman's First Sleepover!
Roman's best friend from school, Kalem, spent the night last night. They had so much fun! Odin did great too, entertaining himself easily when the big boys were playing without him.
Roman says he's not quite ready to sleep at Kalem's house by himself yet, but he loves having play dates!

Merry Christmas!
The boys had a wonderful Christmas! They were able to visit or talk to most all of their family. They are so loved.
The first pic is of Roman's wish list. He spent almost 30 minutes on it; it includes a wrecking ball, a kite, play food, a jack in the box, a potato head for his brother, a bus, a scooter, and a crane and semi- bc I had hidden his in the garage! He said, "Mom, I know I used to have a crane and semi truck, but I can't find them!"
We went ice skating, and had an amazing trip on the Polar Express where Santa gave them a special bell and special snack. They loved it!
Roman also performed several Christmas songs in the school recital. He practiced for more than a month and was so excited!
The boys throw a fit every time I try to put away all the Christmas decorations!

Random FUN!
The pic of Odin and the sock puppet is a funny story. He likes to take his socks and shoes off in the car. But, then he puts one sock on his hand and pretends it's a bunny. The bunny hops and sings and has a great time. Then, when I put his socks back on, he says, "OH NO! The bunny is in my shoe!" So, if you ever hear Odin talk about bunnies in his shoes, now you'll understand. ;)

Happy Birthday Roman!
Another successful tractor party!
If I was better with words, I'd tell you how in love I am with this boy. Now 5! He impresses me and amazes me every day. He takes care of his little brother, he helps me out around the house and he's full of laughter and love. His teacher adores him!
And questions. Oh my, the questions. He must ask 100 per day, and yet I usually can't remember a single one to write here. But, here's a couple that I managed to jot down:
"Mom, do other planets have people? Or are there aliens? Does their planet have our atmosphere? Like clouds and a sun and stuff?"
"Mom, if I get bigger than you, you can still drive my semi truck with me. You'll be my partner, and Odin. Unless, he wants his own truck too."
"When I'm eating this sandwich, I tell you I'm not hungry. When I'm eating ice cream I tell you I am hungry." I laughed and shook my head and he said, "it's ok mama, you love me."
