Well, Roman turned 8 months last week. He is crawling like a mad man and standing up nicely as he walks from the sofa to the coffee table and back. He is playing by himself very nicely. I can put him down in the kitchen or living room and he will play with his toys and with the cat and dog for an hour sometimes while I cook, etc... As long as I check in and play too from time to time.
He is about 28 inches and just under 18 lbs. He is burning a lot of energy now, so he has not gained very much weight lately. He is "tasting" a lot of new foods still; watermelon is his favorite so far. He also sleeps 7-8 hours at night which is great. He goes to bed about 8:00, then wakes up around 3:00 or so, then back to sleep until 8:00 a.m.
He loved splashing in the ocean and likes the pool at home even better, kicking his legs and enjoying bouncing up and down in the water.
