Odin is 4 Months!

Odin is around 13.5 lbs and 25 inches. He is gaining a little more slowly than Roman did, but still 98% in height. Last night, he slept from 8 pm until 10 am with a quick nurse at 4 am and 7 am, it was heavenly! Gene and Roman left early for swim lessons, so Mama got a lot of sleep!

I let Odin use a paci very judiciously, as in when I'm trying to put two kids to bed at once, or in the car. The problem is, Roman runs around sticking it in Odin's mouth all day! And, I swore there would be no pictures of pacis! I am also determined to lose all pacis before the end of the first year...we'll see how that goes.

Roman has been doing a lot of baby pretending lately, mostly pretending to take care of a pretend baby,"Shhh, mama, my baby is sleeping." Yesterday, he had a baby named Taco and a baby poison truck (that's what we call the deet truck that sprays our neighborhood). In this photo, he and Odin are wearing matching bibs and chowing down on Daddy's arm (Roman's idea).

He's definitely mine! I turn around for one second and he is about to devour a Golden Pothos. He is also about to crawl right out of his Bumbo!

Odin is laughing like crazy and kicking all the time. He's gotten very good at putting things in his mouth and rolling over all over the place. He always lets us know when he needs to poop with this deep growl/scream, "Rarrgghhh!" and he often squeals when he needs to pee, although sometimes he squeals right after, as in "change me!" It's SO hard to catch his funniest moments; yesterday, Roman was singing "Goodnight Sweetheart" to the babies (his and mine) and it was so adorable, but I couldn't get to the camera quick enough. : (
