He stood up!

Unfortunately, this is not actual footage, but a re-creation. Gene was able to go to playgroup today and I came in later. When I got there, Roman crawled up on his dad's leg and stood up while reaching up toward me. He stood in a fully standing position with slightly bent legs for around 3-5 seconds. Needless to say, the other playgroup moms were impressed; they think he's so advanced that there might be something wrong with him. : ) He simply doesn't have the giant head weighing him down like most babies; not to mention having Grandpa's monkey arms.
He's been pulling up on furniture for the last month and lately I've noticed that he's standing on flatter feet instead of tippy-toes, but honestly, this really impressed me.
(Not that it's all that hard for him to impress me)
Just a couple of hours ago, he pulled himself up on the on the back of the sofa and without intervention he would have been over the back in a heartbeat. Don't worry, we're on it...
