I'm sorry it has taken me so long to post these pics. The kids had a lovely Christmas and received so many thoughtful, generous gifts. We are working hard to help Roman maintain his grateful attitude and a spirit of giving. He enjoyed trips to the store with us to shop for Odin or Mama or Dada. He understands that we are usually not going to the store for him and that it's not polite to ask for toys, but of course, it's okay to enjoy looking. He does a pretty good job; he even keeps his hands behind his back most times, just like his Daddy.
New shark slippers!
Odin was such a good boy about the tree, he knew not to touch the lights.
Best Christmas present ever! The boys made a frame for me. They put their hand and foot prints on it and Roman even painted a firetruck and dinosaur for me. Then the shop glazed and fired it, so beautiful. This was the same shop that Roman regluarly takes art classes at, which he really enjoys.
He went for the big one pretty quickly.
His "loot."
Putting up the star.
Building a real Gingerbread house with Mama.
I cut out cardboard pieces and bought some foam stickers and cottonballs and he enjoyed making this Gingerbread House with GaGa, but then all the next day, he kept saying, "Mom, when are we going to make a real Gingerbread House that we can eat?" I don't know where he got that idea, but we made one and it was delicious! At least it wasn't a store bought bag of sugar, it was wheat flour and molasses decorated with graham crackers and a few candies.
